2. Products and Services

Desk Support Monkey is an open-source IT Service Desk & Asset Management platform. We provide a hosted version of the platform as a service (SaaS). The source code is also available under an open-source license for self-hosting.

3. License

When you use the Desk Support Monkey platform, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Access and use the platform for your organization's IT support and asset management needs
  • Create and manage service requests, assets, users, and departments
  • Export your data at any time

You may NOT:

  • Redistribute or resell access to the hosted platform
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer proprietary components
  • Use the platform for illegal purposes
  • Remove or modify copyright notices

4. User Accounts

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating an account
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Use the platform in compliance with applicable laws

5. Intellectual Property

The Desk Support Monkey name, logo, and branding are owned by Plan Zeta Tech SL. The platform source code is available under its respective open-source license. All original content on the marketing website is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The platform is provided "as is"
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We are not responsible for data loss resulting from user error or third-party actions

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.

7. Consumer Rights

As a consumer in the European Union, you have statutory rights that cannot be excluded by these Terms, including rights under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seville, Spain, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
